Chandigarh, July 12 -- In a major administrative revamp, the Punjab government has transferred and appointed new eight Indian Police Service (IPS) officers at the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) level. The reshuffle is aimed at reinforcing critical wings such as counter-intelligence, border security, and anti-gangster operations. The Department of Home Affairs issued the transfer orders today, stating that the postings are effective immediately, following approval from the Governor and relevant authorities. Neelambari Vijay Jagdale, DIG Ludhiana Range, will now head Counter-Intelligence, Punjab, based in SAS Nagar. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, DIG Technical Services, will also take over as DIG Patiala Range, replacing Dr Nanak Singh. Satinder Si...
