East Singhbhum, Oct. 18 -- Security forces achieved a major success in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district with the recovery of a large cache of arms, ammunition, and other Naxal-related materials during an intensive joint operation.
The recovery was made yesterday during a search operation carried out by a joint team comprising the district police, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Jharkhand Jaguar personnel.
Superintendent of Police Amit Renu informed that a secret tip-off had revealed the presence of heavy weapon stockpiles hidden by cadres of the banned CPI (Maoist) group in forested areas with plans to target security forces.
