Hyderabad, Jan. 8 -- The Telangana government has ordered a major reshuffle in the State police, transferring and posting 20 IPS and non-cadre officers across Hyderabad City and its surrounding commissionerates.
The transfers were effected through G.O. Rt. No. 38 issued by Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao, based on proposals submitted by the Director General of Police, in view of the reorganisation and creation of new zones and commissionerates.
As per the orders, Tafseer Iqubal, IPS (2008), Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Hyderabad City, has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), South Range, covering Shamshabad, Golconda, Rajendranagar and Charminar zones. N. Swetha, IPS (2012), has been transferred...
