Shimla, Aug. 2 -- In a significant administrative reshuffle ahead of the upcoming monsoon session, the Himachal Pradesh government on Friday ordered the transfer of 16 IAS officers in the state.

The reshuffle carries both administrative and political weight, with some controversial postings drawing attention.

Shivam Pratap Singh, a 2017-batch IAS officer, who was earlier posted at the Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL) and later proceeded on leave after being accused in the mysterious death case of Chief Engineer Vimal Negi, has now been appointed as Director of Youth Services and Sports.
