Mumbai, April 27 -- A major fire broke out early Sunday at the Mumbai Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in south Mumbai, with no injury reported.

The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) received the call at 2:39 am and declared a Level-I fire at the central agency office Kaiser-I-Hind building, located in Ballard Estate of South Mumbai.

Firefighters and rescue teams were rushed to the scene, and by 3:30 am, the fire was classified as a Level II, later Level III blaze, indicating a major fire incident.

The fire was confined to the fourth floor of the five-storey building, officials confirmed.
