Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 4 -- In a major breakthrough against narcotics trafficking, the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF) has arrested four persons, including a woman, and seized 308 grams of MDMA valued at over Rs 15 lakh from them in Poovar here.
Police said the gang was intercepted at Chengavila in Poovar while travelling in a car from Bengaluru. On being signalled to stop, the accused attempted to flee through an interior road, but were chased down and overpowered by the DANSAF team with the assistance of Poovar police.
