Mumbai, Nov. 19 -- Mumbai faced severe travel disruptions for the second consecutive day on Tuesday as a major CNG shortage crippled the city's transport network, with hundreds of pumps shut and thousands of vehicles struggling to operate.
Damage to a key gas pipeline forced hundreds of CNG pumps to shut down, leaving thousands of autos, taxis, and cabs unable to operate at normal capacity. The resulting shortfall left commuters stranded across several parts of the city during peak hours.
