Firozabad, Oct. 10 -- A major accident occurred late Thursday night at an under-construction railway bridge in Tundla, Firozabad district, when the shuttering installed before laying the concrete slab (lenter) suddenly collapsed. Several laborers working underneath were trapped under the debris.Following the incident, the contractor reportedly fled the scene. Local police arrived promptly after receiving information and began a rescue operation with the help of local residents. So far, five workers have been pulled out from the rubble. Two of them are in critical condition and have been rushed to FH MedicalCollege in private vehicles.
