Bhubaneswar, July 3 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today dedicated the Shabari Cultural Bhawan, a short-stay shelter home in the state capital, to the tribal communities of Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, and Malkangiri districts.

Announcing a grant of Rs 2 crore for the upgraded facility, Majhi said all necessary amenities would be provided to fully develop the Shabari Bhawan.

Describing the initiative, the Chief Minister said the Bhawan is more than just a shelter, it is a platform for empowering tribal youth and fostering leadership.

The facility will serve as a centre for education, employment, and cultural activities, in addition to offering short-term accommodation for tribal brothers and sisters.
