Krishnanagar, Feb. 18 -- Ahead of union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit, Trinamul Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Monday questioned the commitment of Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to West Bengal beyond election cycles.
Moitra urged Shah to go beyond his scheduled visit to the Mayapur ISKCON temple in Nadia district and show attention to the region throughout the year.
"We have received news that our Honourable Home Minister, Amit Shah, is coming to our area and visiting the Mayapur ISKCON temple. I welcome him, but I have only one question: Amit Shah ji, why do you and Modi ji forget about us?" Moitra said, addressing the BJP leadership directly.
