Hyderabad, Sept. 26 -- Telangana Mahila Congress President Sunita Rao today presided over the Mahila Congress Executive Committee meeting at Gandhi Bhavan here.
The meeting was attended by district Mahila Congress presidents and executive members. Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka participated as the chief guest, while senior Congress leader Indira Shobhan was also present.
Extending Bathukamma greetings to women across the state, Minister Seethakka said that the festival reflects the deep connection between nature, women, and divinity. "Bathukamma is a unique festival where ponds, flowers, and God are worshipped together. Where women are respected, gods too reside," she remarked.
