Hyderabad, Aug. 1 -- Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress party came to power in the state due to the relentless efforts of party workers over the last decade.

Addressing a meeting of Congress leaders from the erstwhile Ranga Reddy district as part of the ongoing Janahita Padayatra on Friday, he said the people believed that the Congress would "end the rule of oppression and bring people's governance."
