Sangli, April 19 -- Deputy Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Neelam Gorhe, said here today that the Mahayuti government is committed to fulfilling its commitment of giving Rs 2,100 subsidy to women in the state, amid criticism by the opposition of not fulfilling its election promise.
Addressing a large women gathering at Sangli, which received a huge response from the women workers, Gorhe said that the Shiv Sena Eknath Shinde group was committed to fostering respect for sisters, building the party organisational strength among women and a strong women's leadership.
