Mumbai, April 1 -- A significant decision providing relief to the women of the state has been taken regarding the 'Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana'. Minister for Women and Child Development, Aditi Tatkare, announced that the deadline for e-KYC corrections has been extended.

Previously set for March 31, the deadline is now April 30. The extension aims to ensure that no woman is deprived of the scheme's benefits due to technical errors or documentation issues. Launched in July 2024, the scheme provides Rs 1,500 monthly financial assistance to eligible women. Tatkare emphasised that this extension is the final opportunity for corrections.
