Nashik, Jan. 7 -- Four people, including three from Gujarat, were killed in a head-on collision between two cars in Nashik district of Maharashtra on Wednesday, police said.
The accident occurred near the Chachadgaon toll plaza on the Nashik-Peth Road.
Preliminary information suggests that three of the deceased were residents of Gujarat. The identity of the fourth person is yet to be ascertained.
According to the information received, one vehicle was coming from Gujarat towards Nashik, while the Scorpio was going from Nashik towards Peth.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the police and villagers arrived at the scene and carried out the rescue operations.
