Mumbai, March 10 -- : Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar said the state government will introduce a "Come Early Go Early" facility for women government employees in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region to help them leave work earlier.
Making the announcement in the Legislative Council, Pawar said the government is also making efforts to soon pass the Shakti Act in the state.
Speaking during a special discussion on the occasion of International Women's Day, she said women employees in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region will be allowed to report to work between 9:15 am and 9:45 am.
