Mumbai, Oct. 22 -- Maharashtra will organize more than 1,200 cultural programs across the state over the next 365 days to promote the state's rich cultural heritage among the people, said Cultural Affairs and IT Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar today.

The Cultural Affairs Directorate, Mumbai, organized a grand event titled 'Deep Utsav- Diwali Pahat' at Kalidas Natyagruha today. The program featured a melodious musical tribute celebrating the unforgettable songs of legendary singers Asha Bhosle and Sudhir Phadke (Babuji).
