Nanded, March 13 -- The Maharashtra government on Friday announced a Rs 4,250 crore industrial project to set up a helicopter manufacturing plant in Nanded, aiming to boost regional industrial growth and generate up to 2,000 direct jobs.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis made the announcement in the State Legislative Assembly, describing the project as a significant step towards accelerating industrial growth in the region.
The project will be implemented through an agreement between the state government and Ritavia Private Limited. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two sides to set up the helicopter manufacturing facility in Nanded.
