Mumbai, Dec. 5 -- The Maharashtra government on Thursday informed that its proposal seeking assistance for regions affected by heavy rains and floods has already been submitted to the Centre.
According to the Principal Secretary for Relief and Rehabilitation, a Central team visits the state for assessment only after receiving such a proposal, and the required proposal regarding farmers' assistance has already been sent earlier.
Along with this, a second proposal detailing damage to infrastructure across the state has been prepared.
