Mumbai, March 15 -- Maharashtra Minister of State for Energy, Women and Child Development, Public Health, and Public Works, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, has been nominated for a visionary leadership award by U.S. India SME Council.
The Council based in Washington DC has announced that she will be honoured with the "Outstanding Visionary Leader & True Changemaker" award. The recognition has been given in acknowledgement of her notable efforts towards the holistic development and economic empowerment of women.
Sakore-Bordikar will be felicitated at a special ceremony scheduled to be held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on March 25 at 10 am, it was stated at a press conference here.
