Nashik, Sept. 27 -- Senior Maharashtra minister and prominent OBC leader Chhagan Bhujbal has urged youth from the Other Backward Classes (OBC) not to take the extreme step of suicide amid the ongoing struggle to protect OBC reservations.
"We are fighting with full force both on the streets and in court to safeguard OBC reservation. We are confident of victory. No one should resort to suicide during this battle," Bhujbal said while addressing OBC youth.
He noted that five petitions have already been filed in court opposing the government decision to implement the Hyderabad Gazetteer.
"We have assembled a strong legal team to fight this case. We will win," he assured.
