Tirumala, Aug. 28 -- Maharashtra Governor and NDA candidate for the vice presidential elections CP Radhakrishnan offered prayers at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple today.

Radhakrishnan, who filed his nomination papers on August 20, 2025 supported by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other NDA leaders, also sought blessings of Lord Balaji ahead of the election of September 9.

Earlier, on his arrival at the main entrance of the temple-Maha Dwaram, the Governor was welcomed by TTD chairman BR Naidu, additional executive officer Ch Venkaiah Naidu and temple priests.

After offering prayers to Dwajasthambham in the temple, the Governor had darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
