Mumbai, Oct. 15 -- The Maharashtra government has revoked the land allocation previously granted to former minister Bachhu Kadu's Prahar Janshakti Party in Mumbai's prime Nariman Point area, deciding instead to transfer the entire plot to the Janata Dal United.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced the cancellation of the 700 square feet land parcel situated in front of the Yogkshima building, where Kadu's party had planned to establish its office.
The decision by the state cabinet reverses an earlier allocation made during the Eknath Shinde government's tenure, which had divided the 900 square feet land near the Secretariat between the two parties.
