Pune, Oct. 12 -- A crucial meeting between the Maharashtra Electricity Contract Workers' union and senior officials of Mahavitaran (Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) will be held in Mumbai on October 16, 2025, to discuss key worker demands.

The meeting will be chaired by Rajendra Pawar, Director (Human Resources) of Mahavitaran, informed Nilesh Kharat, State President of the Maharashtra Electricity Contract Workers' union (affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh), here today. This follows the Union's supportive action of wearing black ribbons during the three-day strike in the electricity sector held between October 9 and 11.
