Mumbai/New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Harshavardhan Sapkal today stated that there has been no proposal or discussion regarding the inclusion of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition.
Speaking to the media at Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi, Sapkal clarified that reports suggesting dissatisfaction or delay over including MNS in the MVA are purely media speculation.
Sapkal said that the Congress Party is fighting against the authoritarian rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and for the protection and preservation of democracy and the Constitution.
