Mumbai, Sept. 9 -- The Maharashtra Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, today approved projects worth thousands of crores focusing on agricultural and urban development.
The meeting sanctioned an extension of electricity tariff subsidies for 1,789 lift irrigation schemes across the state until March 2027, ensuring affordable electricity for members of cooperative farming societies.
Under the Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme, the Cabinet approved borrowing of Rs 2,000 crore from HUDCO in the first phase.
