Mumbai, Sept. 16 -- The Maharashtra unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a "Seva Pakhwada" (Fortnight of Service) across the state from September 17 to October 2 to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 75th birthday.

State BJP President Ravindra Chavan today said the campaign is a people-driven social initiative aimed at spreading awareness about the Central Government's welfare schemes, cleanliness, environmental conservation, and self-reliance.
