Chhattrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug. 22 -- The Maharashtra Government has announced that salaries and pensions for August 2025 will be paid early to help government employees and pensioners celebrate Ganesh Festival without financial difficulties. The Finance Department issued orders, directing that payments scheduled for 1st September 2025 will now be made on 26th August 2025.
The decision comes as the Ganesh Festival begins on 27th August this year, and the state government wants to ensure that employees do not face monetary constraints during the festival celebrations. The early disbursement covers salaries of all government employees as well as retirement pensions and family pensions.
