Pune, Nov. 16 -- The State Election Commission has announced that candidates can now file their nomination papers for the elections to 246 municipal councils and 42 nagar panchayats not only online but also through the offline process.
Additionally, nominations will be accepted even on Sunday despite it being a weekly holiday.
With this decision, aspiring candidates will be able to submit their nomination forms. The final date for filing nominations for these elections is Monday, and the Commission clarified that the decision was taken considering the approaching deadline.
