Mumbai, Feb. 2 -- As many as seven people, including two children, were killed and over 15 others sustained injuries after a luxury bus plunged into a 200-foot gorge on the Nashik-Gujarat Highway in Maharashtra early on Sunday morning.
Superintendent of Police SG Patil said that the accident occurred early morning on Sunday when the driver lost control of the vehicle near the Saputara hill station.
The bus was carrying 48 pilgrims from Maharashtra's Trimbakeshwar, was en route to Dwarka, Gujarat. The pilgrims were from the districts of Guna, Shivpuri, and Ashoknagar in Madhya
Pradesh.
