Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Aug. 12 -- District Collector Dilip Swami called upon tribal women to harness government empowerment initiatives during a gathering of self-help groups (SHGs) held via video-conference.
The event showcased the Tribal Development Department's Rani Durgavati Women's Empowerment Scheme, whose main launch ceremony took place in Nagpur.
Swami emphasized women's inherent strengths during his address. "Women have excelled across fields through their capabilities, competently sharing responsibilities with men. They should utilize government schemes for personal and familial progress," he said.
The event saw participation from SHGs across Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, and Latur districts.
