Mumbai, March 25 -- 177 schemes are being implemented under Jal Jeevan Mission in Maharashtra's Beed district, with the tender process on for water supply schemes of 45 villages in Gevrai taluka and 29 villages in Majalgaon taluka, Water Supply and Sanitation Minister Gulabrao Patil said on Tuesday.
The works were sanctioned to the Pragati Construction company.
As the progress of the work is unsatisfactory, Pragati Construction will be blacklisted, Patil told the state Assembly.
The government has appointed Tata Consultancy Services for Beed Zilla Parishad and Nabcons for the work of Maharashtra Jeevan Authority to carry out technical inspection of the quality of works of tap water supply schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission.
