Mumbai, Dec. 5 -- Congress Legislature Party Leader in Maharashtra Vijay Wadettiwar on Thursday attacked the ruling BJP-led alliance, alleging that the party is trying to win elections by misusing the name of their "dear sister" and by manipulating EVMs.

He said that if the BJP manages to secure 175 out of 268 seats in the state, it would clearly indicate that the party has won through dishonesty and EVM hacking.

Wadettiwar questioned why, if the government's stance on EVM transparency is clean, the election results are delayed by as many as 20 days. He also criticised the BJP for confidently predicting 175 seats and asked on what basis such forecasts were being made.
