Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), Feb. 24 -- Two people, including a police officer, were burned to death in a fire after their car smashed into a road divider and caught fire due to its impact on Beed-Jamkhed road near Jamkhed city in the district early on Monday.
According to police, the accident occurred between Navale petrol pump and Naira pump at around 4 am early this morning.
On hearing about the incident, social activist Sanjay Kothari immediately reached the spot and informed the police and the Jamkhed Fire Brigade.
After the accident, the car's CNG tank burst into flames and the entire car was caught on fire.
