Thane, Oct. 10 -- Khadakpada police have registered a case against seventeen accused under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act for operating a major drug peddling network in Kalyan, resulting in the arrest of thirteen individuals, while four remain at large.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Atul Zende informed reporters that the investigation commenced when police detained a youth involved in drug consumption, whose disclosures during interrogation led to the exposure of the complete drug supply chain.
