Mumbai, April 27 -- Following inputs from the central agencies, security at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station has been beefed up, officials said here on Sunday.
Specifically, security has been enhanced after terror threat warnings from central agencies, especially ahead of festival seasons, and following hoax calls about potential bombings.
This includes increased patrols, heightened vigilance and additional checks of trains and luggage, officials added.
The Central Railway is also on high alert, with officials reinforcing security measures at various locations.
