Nashik, April 20 -- Providing significant relief to farmers and the general public across the state, the Maharashtra Government has completely waived the registration fee levied on partition deeds for agricultural land. A circular regarding this matter was issued today by the Revenue Department.
Now, in addition to cases falling under Section 85 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, partition deeds for ancestral agricultural land-submitted directly to the Sub-Registrar's office for registration based on mutual consent-have also been granted a complete exemption from registration fees.
