Nashik, March 2 -- Union Minister of State and RPI (A) president, Ramdas Athawale, on Sunday asked Maharashtra Minister and NCP (AP) leader Dhananjay Munde to resign from the post on moral grounds in connection of the Beed sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case.
While interacting with media after visiting the Kalaram temple here, he said that although Minister Dhananjay Munde is not related to the Santosh Deshmukh murder case, his close aide Valmik Karad is the main accused in the case, therefore, Munde should resign from the post on the basis of ethics.
He further said that there is a repeated demand for Munde's resignation in the Santosh Deshmukh case and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was advised that it is necessary to consider it....
