Pune, June 17 -- Following tragic collapse of the Kanthmala bridge over the Indrayani River in the district, which resulted in four deaths and 51 injuries, district collector and chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, Jitendra Dudi, on Tuesday directed officials to follow set guidelines issued by the district administration during the disaster.
Speaking at a meeting held to review the works of the District Disaster Management Authority at the collector's office here, he lamented about the loss of four lives in Kundamala tragedy and instructed all agencies to work together to prevent possible accidents by giving top priority to the safety of citizens.
