Mumbai, May 11 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) today raised questions over the quality of ongoing road concretisation projects in Mumbai, alleging that substandard materials were being used in several civic works and demanding a high-level inquiry into the matter.
In a post shared on social media platform X, it questioned whether the issue reflected "administrative irregularities or negligence by contractor associates", while alleging the use of inferior construction material in road concretisation projects across the city. The post was accompanied by photographs.
The opposition party shared images which, it claimed, indicated poor workmanship and the use of low-quality material in major infrastructure works currently underway in Mumbai.
