Mumbai, March 16 -- The city police questioned several persons in connection of broken seal of a fraud-ridden jewellery brand Torres showroom in Gamdevi area of south Mumbai, sources said on Sunday.
It may be recalled that one of the four Mumbai stores of jewellery brand Torres, which was sealed by Mumbai Police after an alleged ponzi scam of the company worth at least Rs 130 crore surfaced early this year, was found broken in south Mumbai on March 14.
An FIR (first information report) was registered by the Gamdevi police in this connection against an unknown person, who gained illegal entry at the property which was sealed by the Mumbai police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW), which is currently investigating the ponzi scam wherein nearly ...
