Kolhapur, April 25 -- Clarifying his stance on ongoing Marathi language controversy, State minister Nitesh Rane today said that every person who is doing business in Maharashtra, must learn Marathi.

Addressing a press conference at Sindhudurg this afternoon, he emphasized that the government is willing to provide training and books to those interested, while arguing that this should not create a divide within the state.

He heavily criticized the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and other opposition parties over the language issue, calling them "paper tigers" (kagdhi wagh) for not reacting when others refused to learn Marathi.
