Wardha, April 5 -- A shocking double murder incident came to light in Maharashtra's Wardha district, where a minor boy allegedly murdered his uncle and cousin during a wedding procession in Wardha city, police said today.
The deceased have been identified as Prabhakar Bhalme and his son, Nitin Bhalme. The accused, who is their minor nephew, has been arrested by Wardha police.
Preliminary investigation suggests that a long-standing property dispute within the family had led to growing resentment in the accused.
The tragic incident occurred on Saturday night while the wedding procession was underway, the accused allegedly attacked his uncle and cousin with a knife, killing them on the spot.
