Nagpur, March 10 -- The death toll in the explosion at explosives and ammunition manufacturer SBL Energy Limited in Nagpur has risen to 23 after another injured woman succumbed during treatment today, official said.
According to Nagpur Rural Police, the deceased has been identified as Seema Vijay Dhurve (27), who had sustained nearly 70 per cent burn injuries in the powerful blast that occurred at the company's unit in Raulgaon village of Katol tehsil on March 1.
Officials said Dhurve was undergoing treatment at Orange City Hospital but succumbed to her injuries despite sustained efforts by specialist doctors.
Earlier, two other injured women had died on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, further increasing the casualty count.
