Beed, Aug. 3 -- A minor schoolgirl was allegedly kidnapped and sexually assaulted inthe Nikanor area of Beed district, police confirmed today.
The police said the heinous crime occurred at approximately 12:30 PM on August 2, when the 16-year-old victim was returning from her friend's house.
The girl was forcibly taken by three individuals - two of whom have been identified - who dragged her into their car. The assailants not only kidnapped her but also subjected her to brutal sexual assault and physical violence, including beatings with a pipe.
They threatened to kill her if she revealed the incident to anyone.
Despite the trauma and intimidation, the victim courageously approached the Nikanor police station and filed a formal complain...
