Mumbai, Jan. 29 -- Maharashtra Minister and BJP leader, Nitesh Rane, on Wednesday urged the Mahayuti government to ban the use of Hijab by the students who are appearing for SSC and HSC board exams to be held shortly.
In a letter to Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse, he asked the minister to issue a directive for not allowing the students to enter the examination hall in hijab.
Rane has raised the concerns over potential cheating, he said that the students might enter the examination centre in a hijab which may increase their chances of cheating in the examination.
