Mumbai, May 8 -- Maharashtra Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Minister Atul Save assured on Thursday that the problems of residential Ashram Schools of the Vimukta Jatis and Nomadic Tribes (VJNT) category run by the Department will be solved on priority.

Presiding over a meeting held at Mantralaya here regarding problems of private aided residential ashram schools of the VJNT category run by NGOs, he said that appropriate action will be taken to resolve the problems raised by the institution directors of ashram schools.

He instructed concerned officials to prepare a proposal for including ashram schools in the government's CM Shree scheme and also to remove the Ayushman Bharat card from all the students of the ashram schools.
