Raigad (Maharashtra), Nov. 26 -- A man sustained injuries after being shot at by two assailants in Neral, near Raigad, on Tuesday night. The attackers came on a motorcycle, fired at the victim, and fled, police said on Wednesday.
They said the incident occurred when Sachin Bhavar was returning to his residence at Swami Samarth Chawl in Neral. Two unidentified persons on a two-wheeler allegedly fired two rounds at him. One bullet struck his waist, while the second shot missed.
Bhavar was taken to the Neral Primary Health Centre for treatment. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
