Akola, Sept. 16 -- A man was crushed to death with stones during a fight on the premises of a government hospital here, police said today.
According to a police official, the victim, identified as Shantaram Shivram Gopnarayan from the Ghusar area, was found dead this morning. The official said that many homeless people often take shelter in the hospital area. Late on Monday night, a minor argument between two men who were under the influence of alcohol escalated.
In the ensuing violence, one of the men picked up stones and struck the other, causing severe injuries that led to his death on the spot.
