Mumbai, April 23 -- At least 10-12 four-wheelers were gutted after a major fire broke out in Govandi area off busy Ghatkopar-Mankhurd Link Road today afternoon.

The blaze, which erupted around 11.45 am in the morning, caused no injuries and was extinguished within an hour. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

According to the information given by the Mumbai Fire Brigade official, the fire was reported at 11:45 AM today. The blaze affected around 10 to 12 four-wheeler vehicles, sending thick smoke across the busy stretch near Bainganwadi signal at Govandi. Firefighters, along with police personnel and 108 ambulance services, were immediately mobilized to the spot.

No injuries have been reported in the incident.
